Join us for a full week of pottery this summer at Pottery camp! This camp will be all about learning hand building pottery (no throwing on the wheel) with lots of projects designed to engage your child's creative thinking and imagination. We will make a few things together as a class, and students will also get to create projects of their own choosing.
Students will be encouraged to own their projects and take them in any direction they choose. The goal is to have fun, get experience with clay, and to push their creativity. All projects will be fired & glazed after the class has ended, and will be available for pick ~2 weeks after class ends.
There is a fully fenced back yard where students can take a break, have a snack, run around. You're welcome to come visit the space and ask questions in person, or send us an email.
Your Camp Hosts
Sidney is the proprietor and artist behind Salto. She has a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Washington plus a Graphic Design degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. She has a passion for teaching and fostering creativity in kids (see: clay birthday parties).
Annalee is the studio assistant, artist, and all-around craft champ. She has a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts from the University of Washington. She lives in Burien and has two young kids.

What to Bring
Water bottle & sack lunch every day; afternoon snack will be provided
Dress accordingly; prepare your child to roll up your sleeves and get messy!
