Join us for a fun two weeks of crafts and creativity at Craft Camp this Summer, where each day will aim to bring a new hands-on activity that engages their creative thinking skills and imagination.
Students will be able to see ceramic projects through from start to finish, learning the basics of handbuilding, glazing, and firing. We will make a few things together as a class, and students will also get to create ceramic projects of their own choosing. We will incorporate some of our ceramics into other projects!
In addition to pottery, crafts include block printing, marbling paper, beaded keychains & necklaces, candle making, picture frames, wall art, upcycled book crafts, paper mâché and more. All projects are customizable for a given aesthetic and dexterity level for their age.
Students will be encouraged to own their projects and take them in any direction they choose. The goal is to have fun, get experience with a variety of craft & art mediums, and to push their creativity. All projects, including pottery, will be ready to take home at the end of their session.
